He persuaded fellowship in Cardiovascular Radiology at Nation’s Apex Institute, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi) wherein he was trained in cardiac imaging (Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI) and various Vascular Interventional Procedures with wide exposure. He has expertise in various Vascular Interventional Procedures & Cardiac Imaging. He also underwent short term training at other premier institutes like Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical sciences & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram/ Trivandrum and Amrita Institute of Medical sciences & Research centre ,Kochi .
Formerly he worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Interventional Radiology at Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences & Research center, Hyderabad and as Associate Professor at Dr VRK Women’s Medical College , Teaching hospital & Research centre, Hyderabad.
He is running a vascular specialty hospital exclusively for Varicose Veins at Hitech city and Vijayanagar Colony, Hyderabad, where he is treating the needy patients with Laser therapy. He has excellent clinical outcomes treating varicose vein patients and various other surgical procedures. He has performed more than 10,000 surgical (including vascular) procedures with excellent clinical outcomes . Hence his services could be utilized for needy people, in particular varicose vein patients. He worked as a Consultant - Nuclear Medicine at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre and as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at KIMS Hospital before joining Omega Hospitals. Dr. Banoth's areas of academic interest include onco-imaging, hybrid-imaging, nuclear endocrinology, targeted radio-nuclide therapy, and internal radiation dosimetry. He has published several research papers in reputed journals on topics related to nuclear medicine.
